Damage Free Repairs
Pipe Lining – Pipelining involves pulling a flexible, resin-coated tube through a damaged section of pipe. This tube is then inflated, and the resin is allowed to harden. Once the resin has cured, a “pipe within a pipe” is effectively created, giving that section a jointless, corrosion-resistant means of carrying water. Although this method restricts the inside diameter of the lateral line, it does not reduce the pipe’s ability to carry water or waste. This method typically requires nothing more than a single access hole but is not possible if the lateral line has been too damaged, has broken joints, or has collapsed. For these situations, pipe bursting is the standard method of repair.
Pipe Bursting – This method of repairing a water line involves simply pulling a new section of pipe through the damaged one, which simultaneously breaks the old pipe outward. This method often involves two access holes on either side of the broken section but is every bit as durable as the pipelining method.
Pipelining works on a variety of applications and a range of pipe sizes. Our pipelining experts will access your sewer repair problem and the best pipelining solution to fit it quickly and efficiently. Pipelining works by feeding a specially formulated, reinforced synthetic liner into the existing pipe and then expanding it until it fits tightly against the existing pipe.
Trenchless repair methods are generally more expensive than conventional methods of digging up the broken section of pipe, but if you stand to spend thousands of dollars repairing streets, structures, and landscaping, then a trenchless water line repair may be the most cost-effective and least stressful solution for you.
